Revision of Breast Surgeries Case #117
Case #117 Details
|Procedures Depicted:||Breast Augmentation, Revision of Prior Breast Surgeries|
This 43 year old very fit woman came to us desiring correction of "bottomed out implants" and a bigger, fuller look to her bust line. She had already been to another practice 5 years earlier where she had a breast augmentation and then a revision of that breast augmentation 3 years later. But her implants were too low. The implant size she had at the time of her visit to us was 450 cc’s. And she had a deflated look to her breasts.
Examination showed that she could achieve the look she wanted by going up (moderately) in size. Also, we needed to correct her implant pocket, tightening it on the bottom. This would give her the fullness she desired and also achieve the ‘higher and tighter’ look that so many women are going for. Dr. Romanelli performed a ‘remove and replace’ procedure, taking out her old implants and putting in new, 700cc silicone gels.
The results were as the patient expected and she couldn’t be happier! She finally has the look she desired originally.
