Every time you get a new electronic — a cell phone, new DVD player, or iPod — it comes with a little (or sometimes not-so-little) user manual. Most people don’t spend a lot of time combing through the details, but it’s an important thing to have so that you know how to maintain the product and what to do if something goes wrong.
While your body doesn’t come with a user manual, it’s easier than ever to use the Web to find the resources you need to look your best each and every day. I’d like to think that my blog, as I continue to write regularly over the coming months, will become a go-to guide for women and men like you who are looking for the latest beauty tips and guidance.
I’m a board-certified plastic surgeon, but I certainly don’t recommend surgery in every case. In fact, from time to time I’ll discuss some of the great non-surgical products out there to help you enhance your face and body. New ones are being introduced all the time, and I hope I can help you separate fact from fiction.
Also, I’m going to focus a lot on “mommy makeovers,” which more and more of my Long Island plastic surgery patients are asking about. These procedures combine a unique set of breast, body and face surgeries for moms who are looking for a little “refresher” after starting a family.
Stay tuned for more about mommy makeovers and the other exciting cosmetic procedures and treatments that are in the news and on your mind.
