It’s a new year! The feeling of renewal is all around us, and with that, I know many people are ready to give their appearances a little refreshing too. Whether they seek a nonsurgical treatment such as BOTOX® at my Long Island medical spa or are ready for a fully rejuvenating facelift, I always enjoy helping patients achieve their goals and revealing a subtle, natural-looking transformation.
Here are 3 of my favorite rejuvenating treatments that can give patients effective yet subtle results.
- BOTOX Cosmetic and fillers: BOTOX is one of the most tried and true solutions for fine lines and wrinkles. The injectable treatment can be used on facial areas including forehead, between the eyebrows (also known as the “angry 11s”), and crow’s feet around the eyes. For wrinkles elsewhere on the face, dermal fillers can smooth skin and create a rejuvenated, more youthful appearance. These quick injections can fill in wrinkles around the mouth, add volume to the cheeks, and more. BOTOX and fillers can be administered all at once to treat the full face. After your initial consultation, the treatment takes only a few minutes to administer. Results are visible in just a few days and are easy to maintain with regular treatments a few times each year.
- CO2 laser skin rejuvenation: This treatment can yield amazing results for someone seeking to diminish common signs of aging such as fine lines, sun and age spots, uneven skin tone, and more. The CO2 laser works to remove the top layer of skin on the face, neck, or décolletage, stimulating the production of healthy new skin cells and collagen. The new skin cells and the fresh collagen help to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, tighten skin, and balance skin tone in just one treatment. My team will help patients determine the treatment plan best for their skin type, skin issues, and goals.
- Facelift: This facial procedure offers some of the most impressive, long-lasting results for patients. In the past, people worried about skin appearing too tight and unnatural, but this is not the case when the procedure is performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon. Today’s techniques focus on gently tightening the deep muscles to give the overlying skin a subtle, natural lift.
