Marissa Rosgaard, PA‐C – Physician Assistant
Romanelli Cosmetic Surgery couldn't be more excited to welcome Marissa to our team. Marissa is a certified Physician Assistant, who received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University, followed by a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Touro College. She assists before, after, and during surgery, and is committed to your education, safety and comfort. Marissa is passionate about aesthetic medicine and the positive impact it has on the lives of her patients.
Jessica DeGorter – Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica joined our practice after nearly 10 years of experience in healthcare. With a degree in Humanities, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals by being a warm and caring surgical coordinator and patient advocate. One of the favorite parts of her job is building relationships with the patients that come to JRCS. Jessica will ensure that all of your questions are answered, and all of your expectations are addressed. She is available to assist you in all aspects of your office visits and surgical scheduling, from your initial phone call to your very last post‐operative visit.
Theresa Nappy – Patient Care Coordinator
Theresa has been with us since 2015. She was recruited from Northwell Health‐Huntington Hospital (where Dr. Romanelli holds the esteemed position of Chief of Staff). With a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, she now is one of our Patient Care Coordinators for both our Cosmetic and Insurance patients. She handles all aspects of the practices hospital and insurance cases, including Breast Reconstruction, Breast Reduction, and coordinated surgeries with other specialties. In addition to helping you schedule your surgery, Theresa will also coordinate your pre‐operative visit and management of insurance authorizations. Always willing to go the extra mile, she is an extraordinary patient advocate, extremely knowledgeable and an essential part of what makes our team so special.
Juliette Jund – Front Desk Coordinator
Juliette has been with our practice for over 4 years and plays a valuable role in daily operations. Aside from being the first smiling face you meet on the day of your consultation, she will be happy to assist you with scheduling your consultation, answer questions regarding surgical fees and policies or to help with the logistics of surgical scheduling. Juliette's extensive knowledge of plastic surgery ensures that you will receive exceptional service and care, while visiting JRCS.
Michelle Golini, R.N. – Registered Nurse
Michelle has been with our practice since 2002. With 13 years of experience in the ICU at Good Samaritan Hospital, her qualifications are exceptional. Her patience, kindness and truly excellent patient care have made her a favorite among our patients. Aside from assisting Dr. Romanelli on consultation days, she will be with you as you recover from surgery, from the moment you leave the operating room until you leave our surgical center. She maintains contact with our patients after surgery at follow up visits and by telephone, answering questions and offering support.
Katie Pyne – Front Office Manager
Katie has been a part of our team since the summer of 2012. With a Bachelor's Degree in finance, Katie manages the administrative aspects of our practice, specializing in our electronic medical records software. She maintains contact with the vendors that supply our office and surgical supplies, helping to create the quality, five‐star atmosphere that we strive for. She can also be found welcoming patients, assisting them with questions and concerns and adding to the happy and helpful vibe at our front desk.
