He will then gently place the implant in the pocket, along with long acting local anesthetic, to minimize your discomfort after surgery. Finally closing and bandaging the incisions, Dr. Romanelli will place a stabilizing band over the breasts, or a surgical bra, depending on your specific needs.

At our plastic surgery center, breast enhancement procedures are performed under general anesthesia (given by our board certified MD Anesthesiologist) as an outpatient surgery. The surgery generally takes 1 hour.
