This 47 year old woman from Long Island was referred to our offices by a friend. She was considering eyelid surgery in Suffolk County. In our first consultation, she told me about her busy, active life, and felt that her eyes contradicted her vitality. Her beautiful blue hazel eyes looked tired and disinterested, and they were masked by excess upper eyelid skin, along with some lower eyelid puffiness. We decided that an upper and lower eyelid lift, or blepharoplasty, would best uncover and enliven her eyes.

Blepharoplasty is one of the most popular procedures among my patients, as eyelid surgery can help to reveal more youthful, vibrant eyes. This woman's surgery lasted only 1 1/2 hours while she was under a sedative anesthetic. Her stitches were removed after four days and she was feeling refreshed and back to work in less than a week.

This patient's post-operative photos show that she now looks much more alive and rejuvenated after her cosmetic surgery in Nassau County. She no longer looks tired and her eyes shine after the removal of excess eyelid skin and puffiness. She is very pleased that she still looks like herself and the results appear natural, helping her feel alive and younger to match her dynamic lifestyle.
